These are pictures taken over the last few years of the wildlife of Lesvos -
wild flowers, butterflies, and other fauna including a few large, slow-moving, birds.
(the smaller, faster ones are left to the multitude of visiting bird-watchers)

Please note that we are not naturalists - most of the identifications come not
from knowledge but from scouring various field guides,
sometimes, particularly in the case of the flowers, fruitlessly.
